Hi Tech Kitchen
Aesthetics and functionality of a kitchen are what I am focused on when designing a space. How textures and colors work together, as well as ensuring that the end result gives the client what they want and need. I must admit that technology is usually not at the forefront of my thinking.
However, for those who are technology minded there are many gadgets for your kitchen that peak even my interest. Curious? Try some of these ideas on for size.
If you don't want to install a central vacuum, try this nifty garbage can from Bruno instead. Just sweep your dirt into the suction port and it pulls the dirt directly into the garbage bag.
Not going to get home in time for dinner? Use the We-Mo enabled Crock-Pot and control it from your smart phone.
The same technology is available for your coffee machine. Mr. Coffee's Smart Wi-Fi Enabled We-Mo Coffeemaker will ensure a fresh and hot cup of Joe whenever you want it from the touch of your phone.
Want to know what is in your fridge, what food is about to expire or whether you have the right ingredients for a recipe, even when you are not at home? Try LG's Smart Thin IQ Refrigerator.
Think these ideas are great? LG is also coming out with its HomeChat line that will allow to do things like speak to your fridge and ask questions like "Do we have beer?" How cool is that?
