Tween Rooms with Style

My daughter is entering middle school in the fall. There I said it. I cannot believe she is already finished with elementary school and hurtling toward college. Gone are her little girl outfits and pigtails and their place a soon to be tween. Of course, her taste in everything from clothing to music has changed significantly and soon her sweet bubblegum pink and chambray blue room will no longer be "cool."

The tween years are tough. Kids still like some little kid things but yearn for a more grown up version of themselves. So, how do you bridge the gap and give them a room that still lets them be a kid but in a more grown up way? Get inspiration from these great spaces.

You can tell this girl likes purple, but the whole room doesn't have to be purple. Love it!
