Now that the holidays are over, it is time to start decorating in my house for the next holiday, Valentine's Day. This is not a holiday we make a big deal about in our house but it is fun for the kids to decorate and receive a little treat.
Sure, buying store bought decorations is always an option. But, giving my kids something to keep them busy on a cold weather weekend is equally appealing.

Inexpensive frames, scrapbook paper, small candies, and a glue gun are all it takes to make some cute decorations for your table or mantle.
Send the kids out to round up some branches, glue on cut out paper hearts and display them in a vase or jug for a festive and heartwarming display.
Dress up simple white candles with twine and felt hearts to add a little warmth to your home.
