Fall Gardens

The end of summer generally means fading flowers. While many summer annuals can make it into fall many begin to fade. This is a good time to start to swap out your fading plants with fall hardy options to keep your garden looking great well into late fall.

I have rounded up some of my favorite fall garden ideas. From sprucing up your planter beds to dressing up your porch you will be sure to find something to inspire you.

Tub of color Ornamental grasses bring handsome height to a metal laundry tub. 'Burgundy Giant' red fountaingrass provides a rusty backdrop for dark pink, daisylike 'Cecilia' chrysanthemum and cheerful Sundaze Golden Yellow strawflower. Petite blue fescue adds texture at the front of the vintage container.

Isn't this a gorgeous porch? I need to put up my fall wreath. It's too early for pumpkins and mums in Texas. :)
