5 Junk Drawer Organizing IdeasmetNvia via I

via The Lighter Side of Life

I am not one for making New Year's resolutions however, I am one for wanting to start the New Year off more organized and less stressed. Like any new endeavor, starting off small is the key to success. Find an area you want to reorganize, like your junk drawer, closet or bathroom vanity. Then decide what you want to keep and what you don't need anymore. Take stock of what you are keeping and find a way to corral like items into groups to create space and making locating those items easier.

Need some ideas for organizing your junk drawer? Get some inspiration from these great ideas.

1. Bamboo flatware organizer. Use a bamboo flatware organizer to separate and group items together. Use additional space for larger items. Separate the other area with small baskets.

4. Metal desk set. Repurpose a metal desk set to use in your junk drawer. They are perfect for sorting pens, tape and rubber bands. Lining the bottom of your drawer with pretty scrapbook or wrapping paper makes you more likely to keep your drawer neat and tidy.
